National Institute of Siddha (NIS), Chennai under Government of India, An Autonomous Body under Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare has released notification for the recruitment of Professor, Associate Professor, Pharmacist vacancies on direct/ contractual basis. 1. Professor: 04 Posts
2. Associate Professor: 05 Posts
3. Pharmacist: 01 Post

Age Limit: Candidates maximum age should be 64 years for post 1, 50 years for post 2, 30 years for post 3 as on last date for receipt of application. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should already worked as Professor in the Departments concerned in PG education for post 1, PG qualification in Siddha in the concerned subject recognized by CCIM for post 2, HSC with Science & English from a recognized State Board of Education for post 3. Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on written test and interview.

Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs. 100/- (No fee for SC/ ST candidates) of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Director, National Institute of Siddha, Tambaram Sanatorium, Chennai-600047.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send the application duly affixed with a recent passport size photograph, DD, community certificate (if any) to the Director, National Institute of Siddha, Tambaram Sanatorium, Chennai–600047 on or before 01-12-2014.
