Staff Selection Commission (SSC) North Eastern Region (NER), Guwahati has issued a notification for the recruitment of Library Clerk vacancies at NEC Secretariat, Shillong, Meghalaya. Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be 18 – 27 years as on closing date of applications. Age relaxation will be applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Matriculation or equivalent with a Certificate Course in Library Science (One year’s course after matriculation) with three years experience in a Library/ Documentation Centre.

Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be called for written proficiency test, Proficiency Test, Screening Test, skill test, personality test, interview.

Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs.50/- through CRFS (Central Recruitment Fee Stamp) These stamps are available at all departmental Post Offices of the country. These stamps may be pasted on the application form in the space provided for the purpose. Women, PH, SC, ST & Ex-servicemen candidates are exempted from fee.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their applications in the prescribed format, One recent passport size photograph to be pasted on the application along with attested copies of Central Recruitment Fee Stamps, Two self-addressed envelopes of 12 cms x 25 cms size, one of which should be affixed with postage stamps worth Rs.6/-, caste certificate, qualification certificates/ mark sheets, age proof, experience certificate, age relaxation certificates etc & other relevant documents on or before 15-12-2014 by 5:00 PM to The Regional Director, Staff Selection Commission(NER), Housefed Complex, West End Building, Beltola Basistha Road, Dispur, Guwahati-781006.
