North Eastern Railway Recruitment 2014 – Scout & Guide Quota Vacancies

 Railway Recruitment Cell, North Eastern Railway has issued a notification for the recruitment against Scout & Guide Quota in Group ‘C’ vacancies for the year 2014-15. Eligible candidates may send their applications on or before 14-12-2014 by 18:00 Hrs & remote areas candidates may send their applications on or before 29-12-2014 by 18:00 Hrs. Name of the Post: Scout & Guide Quota in Group ‘C’

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be 18 – 33 years as on 01-01-2015. Age relaxation will be applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Matriculation or its equivalent with ITI in relevant trade for Technician-III Post, Matriculation or its equivalent with 50% marks for Other Posts, a president’s Scout/ Guide/ Ranger/ Rover or Himalayan Wood Badge holder, should have been active member of Scouts organization for atleast 3 years in the recent pass (i.e 2011-12, 2012-13, 2013-14) & should continued to be active, should have attended atleast one event at National Level & one or two events at State Level for Scouts.

Selection Process: Selection will be made on the basis of written test, personality test/ interview.

Examination Fee: Candidates should pay Rs.100/- through Indian Postal Order (IPO), drawn in favor of Senior Personnel Officer, RRC, N.E.Railway, payable at Gorakhpur. SC/ ST, Ex-Servicemen, PWD, Women, Minority, OBC Except creamy layer candidates are exempted from fee.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their applications in the prescribed format filled by the candidate in his own handwriting using blue or black point pen along with attested copies of IPO, qualification certificates, scouting/ guding qualifications/ event certificates, certificate of active membership of Scout & Guide organization issued by unit leader & Distt Secretary jointly and counter signed by Distt Commissioner Scout/ Guide, community certificate, date of birth proof, income certificate etc to Senior Personnel Officer, Railway Recruitment Cell, N.E Railway CCM Annexure Building Railway Road No,14, Gorakhpur (UP) – 273012 or may be dropped in the box kept at premised of RRC Gorakhpur on or before 14-12-2014 by 18:00 Hrs & remote areas candidates may send their applications on or before 29-12-2014 by 18:00 Hrs.
